Modern-Day M*A*S*H Episode
No Hawkeye or Hotlips here, just 60 of America's finest in Afghanistan hankering for a BBQ. The word went out to Adopt-a-Chaplain and the team sprung into action. The meats were carefully iced and sent from Illinois. The buns and condiments were sent from California. Within 10 days, a little bit of Americana was celebrated. We are not generally in the catering business, but we do encourage special requests from the chaplains. We send books for small groups, guitars and musical equipment for chapel and sports equipment for just kicking back.
